Geovanni Fernandes Garcia

I'm a researcher in Instrumentation and Radio Astronomy and a PhD student at the Institute of Physics of the University of São Paulo (IFUSP). As an active member of the BINGO/ABDUS Radiotelescope collaboration, my research focuses on using interferometric simulations and Python data processing to optimize antenna array geometries, enabling the detection of cosmological signals. With a multidisciplinary profile, I combines physics with software development, having created web applications and data pipelines that are essential to the collaboration's operations. In addition to my experience with instrumentation and observational astronomy, I'm passionate and active science communicator: I'm created the YouTube channel "Dois Físicos e um Vetor" and leads large online communities, demonstrating my commitment to making rigorous academic research accessible to the general public.
